Salt of Hope Charity Foundation are deeply committed to uplifting elderly individuals in Sierra Leone, particularly those aged 70 to 100+ years old, who often face immense challenges in their later years. Many of them live in poverty, struggle with isolation, and lack access to essential resources. Our mission is to restore dignity, provide relief, and bring joy to their lives through our dedicated Elderly Care Outreach Program.

What We Provide

💰 Financial Support & Cash Gifts
We provide direct financial assistance and cash gifts to help seniors manage urgent personal expenses, medical needs, and basic daily sustenance. This support empowers them to live with greater independence and dignity.

❤️ Emotional Support & Companionship
Loneliness and isolation are major issues for the elderly. Our volunteers spend quality time with them, engaging in conversations, listening to their life stories, and offering emotional comfort. A simple act of companionship can reignite their sense of belonging and hope.

🥗 Food & Nutritional Support
Many elderly individuals in our communities struggle with food insecurity and malnutrition. Our outreach programs distribute nutritious food packs, including rice, beans, cooking oil, milk, and other essential groceries to ensure they have proper meals.

👕 Clothing & Basic Needs
We distribute clothing, blankets, footwear, and hygiene kits to ensure that seniors have adequate protection from harsh weather conditions and maintain personal hygiene and well-being.

🏠 Home Visits & Community Engagement
We personally visit elderly individuals in their homes to assess their living conditions and provide the necessary support. We also organize community events, bringing seniors together to socialize, share meals, and participate in uplifting activities.
